BreasTEST & More
BreasTEST & More is a program that provides breast and cervical cancer screenings and follow-up to low income and uninsured Georgia women 40 to 64 years of age. Some younger women with symptoms of breast cancer may also qualify**.
Qualifying women may receive:
- Breast examinations by a Health Department nurse
- Pap smear if indicated
- Mammogram referral
To qualify a woman must:
- Be a Georgia resident
- Be low income (200% of the poverty level or below)
- Not have medicaid or medicare or any insurance that covers mammograms
- Be between the ages of 40 to 64
**Younger women may qualify for the program if a problem is found on a clinical examination.
Women that have been diagnosed with breast or cervical cancer may qualify for Women’s Health Medicaid.
