The Teen Health Center prides itself on health education we provide our clients at each clinic visit.
We Provide Health Education
- Abstinence is stressed and encouraged at every opportunity.
- All counseling is confidential.
- We collaborate in the community on teen related issues.
- We use every opportunity to expand knowledge of our teens
- There is extensive literature available on teen health related topics
- We have an “up to date” video library on teen related topics.
- We use learning tools as needed
- Our nurses are chosen and trained to work well with the teen population.
Our goal is to ensure that our teen clients fully understand the consequences of unprotected sex, that they are able to make informed choices, and have an understanding of all of the associated risks.
