Columbus Health Department Observes National Infant Immunization Week

To celebrate National Infant Immunization Week, the Columbus Department of Public Health will be offering immunizations starting on Tuesday, April 24th - Friday, April 27th and Monday, April 30th weekdays, from 8:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M. to children ages 19 years and younger. There will be FREEHearing, Vision and Dental screenings for ages 4 years- 6 years of age during these days. During this event, children will be screened for eligibility to receive free or reduced cost immunizations. Immunizations will be of no cost to you if your child is actively enrolled in Medicaid, Wellcare, Peach State Health Plan or Peach Care for Kids. Low cost immunizations will be provided to those who have no insurance, are under insured, are either an American Indian or Alaska Native or enrolled in the State Benefit Health Plan.
The clinic is located at 2100 Comer Avenue, on the 2nd Floor of the Health & Human Services Building, General Clinic/Child Health area. Take advantage of this wonderful opportunity. Get your children ready for the upcoming school year and avoid the rush and long lines. No appointment necessary. The free services are for Georgia residents only.
