Women Infant Children (WIC) Services
The purpose of WIC is to issue supplemental food vouchers, prevent nutrition related health problems, and to improve nutritional health to eligible clients.

Children 1st Point of Entry
Connects families and their children with medical preventive care or developmental services available through health care providers and other community resources. Read more.
Immunizations
Td/Tdap, HPV, Hep A and Hep B, MMR, Varicella, Hib, Mena, Pneumonia, Flu, Polio, Rotovirus, PCV, Dtap.
Women’s Health
The Women's Health Screens include physical exams with pap smears, lab testing, and assessment for contraceptives.
BreasTest & More
BreasTEST & More is a program that provides breast and cervical cancer screenings and follow-up to low income and uninsured Georgia women 40 to 64 years of age. Some younger women with symptoms of breast cancer may also qualify. Read more.
Hypertension Clinic
The purpose of the Hypertension Clinic is of offer detection, referral, monitoring, follow up, treatment and patient education on hypertension.
Sexually Transmitted Diseases Clinic
The purpose of the Sexually Transmitted Diseases Clinic is to diagnose and treat Patients with sexually transmitted diseases and any other communicable diseases. The Clinic also provides HIV counseling, testing, and confidential partner notification.
Tuberculosis Control Clinic
Offers detection, treatment, education and follow-up on the Tuberculosis germ.
Environmental Health
Provides primary prevention through a combination of surveillance, education, enforcement, and assessment programs designed to identify, prevent and abate the environmental conditions that adversely impact human health
Food Service and Tourist Accommodation Facilities Inspections
School Health Services
Scoliosis Screening provided for all junior high students. Immunization audits of kindergarten/first grade - Daycare / School Certificates valuing others, and by caring. Hearing, vision and dental screenings are also available for school aged children.
Laboratory Services
The health department can provide general laboratory services as ordered by a physician. Fees vary by test; please call the health department for more information.
