Full-Time Unclassified Position

Position open to current and former State employees and all others who meet the qualifications.
Paygrade: 17 District Entry/Hiring Salary: $59,974.80/year
Maximum Hiring Salary: $68,371.20/year

Salary based on experience

LOCATION: District Clinical Services, Columbus Health Department

2100 Comer Ave., 2nd floor HHS Center, Columbus, GA 31904

DUTIES: Under limited supervision, provides nursing and delegated medical services to clients, emphasizing health promotion and disease prevention. Manages acute and chronic diseases in accordance with medical protocols. Assesses the client’s condition, performs and interprets laboratory tests, prescribes appropriate treatments/therapies and educates client.

QUALIFICATIONS: A current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of Georgia and certification by the certifying agent of the American Nurses Association, AWHONN, or AANP. A copy of college transcript is required.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Knowledge of or experience in Infectious Disease/ Primary Care.
