Full-Time Unclassified Position

Position open to current and former State employees and all others who meet the qualifications.
Paygrade: 13 District Entry/Hiring Salary: $30,708.72/year
Maximum Hiring Salary: $33,779.52/year
Salary based on experience and degree

LOCATION: District WIC, Columbus Health Department

2100 Comer Ave., 2nd floor HHS Center, Columbus, GA 31904

DUTIES: Provide nutrition services to clients in WIC Program and in the West Central Health District. Ensure availability of quality nutrition services to target populations, including nutritional risk screenings, assessments, individual counseling, and follow-up, as well as group nutrition education classes.

QUALIFICATIONS: Completion of a Bachelor’s Degree in Nutrition, Foods and Nutrition, Community Health Nutrition, Dietetics, or an equivalent dietetic program in nutrition, as approved by the American Dietetic Association. A copy of college transcript is required.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Computer experience: PC software and network-based systems.
