Christy Hubbard, Coalition Leader
Christy, a native Georgian, grew up in Macon County. Christy graduated from the University of Georgia with a B. S. in Family and Consumer Sciences with a Child and Family Development emphasis in 2003.
After completing her undergraduate in Athens, Christy moved to Atlanta and attended graduate school at Georgia State University and completed her Masters program in Professional Counseling in 2005 and hold a certificate as a National Certified Counselor. As a counselor, Christy began her career at Catholic Charities and began to grow as a professional by working with new parents, women in crisis, and families. Christy became certified as a Child Passenger Safety Technician in 2007. Christy and her husband, Ben Hubbard, relocated to Columbus, Georgia in 2008.
